Window Art & Murals
Bespoke window art, seasonal and promotional painted displays, branded artwork and hand-painted interior murals for businesses, events and private spaces.
Not at all. Tell me about your space, occasion or business, and I can help shape an idea that feels right for you.
Absolutely. Colours, lettering, logos and other brand elements can be incorporated into an original design. Please provide clear, high-resolution artwork where possible.
Please send a clear photograph of the window or wall, with approximate measurements, your location and preferred timescale. You can also include any ideas, colours or branding you would like considered.
Window art commissions start from £100. Large windows, full shopfronts and murals are quoted individually according to size, detail, surface, access and location.
Based in Ruislip, London.I accept a limited number of commissions across the UK each year.
Early enquiries are always encouraged, particularly for Halloween, Christmas, seasonal displays and projects required for a specific date.
Your painting date is secured once your quotation has been accepted and the booking deposit has been received.
Yes. Before painting begins, you will receive a concept sketch showing the planned layout, colour palette and key design elements, giving you a clear sense of how the finished artwork will look.Once you are happy with the concept, I will bring the design to life by hand on your window or wall. The number of revisions included will be confirmed in your quotation.
This depends on the size and detail of your design. An estimated painting time will be provided before you book, and commercial work can be arranged to minimise disruption where possible.
Usually, yes. Existing vinyl lettering or logos can often be incorporated into the design, with the artwork positioned carefully around them. In some cases, it may also be possible to paint on the opposite side of the glass.I do not normally paint directly onto vinyl, as the paint may adhere differently and its removal could affect the vinyl’s finish. Please include a clear photograph with your enquiry so I can assess the window and recommend the best approach.
Both are possible. The most suitable option will depend on the design, visibility, access, glass type and intended display period.Interior artwork is better protected from the weather, while exterior artwork can provide a clearer street-facing finish. The best approach will be discussed and agreed before the design is creat
Most smooth glass and properly prepared interior walls are suitable, but each surface will be assessed before booking. Please tell me about any window film, tint, specialist coating, existing damage, damp or peeling paint. The client is responsible for obtaining permission from the property owner or landlord where required.
Windows must be clean, dry and easily accessible before I arrive.Walls must be dry, sound and suitable for painting.Moving furniture, surface repairs and deep cleaning remain the client’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise.
Window artwork is intended as a temporary feature. Its lifespan will depend on the materials used, its position, weather exposure, condensation and how the glass is maintained.Avoid cleaning the painted area while the artwork is on display.
Removal and final window cleaning are not included as standard and remain the client’s responsibility. When commissioning a new design (for example, replacing a Halloween design with a Christmas design), removal of artwork previously painted by me can be added to your quotation.I do not remove or paint over another artist’s work. If you would like me to replace an existing design created by another artist, please ensure it has been fully removed and the window is clean and ready for painting before I arrive.I do not offer removal as a standalone service, and professional cleaning of the full window is not included.
Protect the window ledge and floor beneath with towels, paper or a waterproof sheet.Thoroughly dampen the artwork with warm, soapy water using a soft cloth or sponge, then allow it to soften.Gently wipe away the loosened paint. For stubborn areas, use a plastic card or plastic window scraper while the glass remains wet.Repeat if needed, then finish with a suitable glass cleaner and clean microfibre cloth.Avoid metal blades, abrasive pads and harsh solvents. For tinted, coated, filmed or specialist glass, always follow the manufacturer’s cleaning guidance.
With your permission, I may photograph or film the creative process and finished artwork for my portfolio, website and social media.Content will focus on the artwork. Identifiable people, private areas or confidential information will not be included without separate permission. If you would prefer your project to remain private, please let me know before painting begins. You are, of course, very welcome to photograph and share the completed artwork on your own websites and social media. Where possible, I would be grateful if you could acknowledge me as the artist and tag my social media account or link to www.kellyanne.studio.
